Job Overview:

  • Desi Bar & Grill is looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and results-driven Content Creator & Social Media Manager to manage and grow our online presence across multiple platforms. This role is responsible for creating engaging visual content, managing social media accounts, and strengthening brand awareness while driving customer engagement and foot traffic across all locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategize, plan, and create high-quality photo and video content featuring food, beverages, events, staff, and restaurant ambience
  • Conceptualize and execute short-form video content (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) to support promotions and brand storytelling
  • Manage daily content posting and scheduling across all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Google
  • Write engaging captions, hashtags, and clear calls-to-action aligned with brand voice
  • Boost posts and run paid advertisements across platforms as required
  • Ensure consistent branding, tone, and messaging across all restaurant locations
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns for promotions, events, and new product or menu launches
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align content strategies with overall business objectives
  • Monitor industry trends and platform updates, and recommend creative ideas to stay competitive
  • Track and analyze performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth
  • Prepare regular performance reports with insights and recommendations for improvement

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Content Creator or Social Media Manager, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry
  • Strong photography and videography skills; experience in food and lifestyle content is an asset
  • Proficiency with content creation and editing tools such as Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and best practices
  • Ability to manage content for multiple locations while meeting deadlines
  • Creative mindset with strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing social media for multi-location restaurant brands
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with paid social media advertising
  • Familiarity with Google Business Profile management and online review platforms
  • Availability to work evenings or weekends as required for events, promotions, or content creation
