Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and presentable at all times. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming environment for both employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and facilities maintenance, demonstrating a strong commitment to cleanliness and organization.

Duties

  • Clean and maintain designated areas of the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, hallways, and entryways.
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management.
  • Restock supplies such as paper products and soap in restrooms and kitchens.
  • Maintain outdoor areas by picking up litter and ensuring walkways are clear.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed to keep the facility in good condition.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management immediately.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean effectively and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication skills to interact with staff and management effectively.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$17.60 per hour
