Job Title: Facility Cleaner – Rock Climbing Gym

Location: Climber's Rock

Position Type: 35 hours/week

Schedule: Fixed Hours, Thursday-Monday, 6am-12pm

Overview:

We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Facility Cleaner to help keep our climbing gym clean, safe, and welcoming for our community. This is a full-time position requiring early morning availability before the gym opens.

Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker areas
  • Mop and vacuum large floor areas (including climbing gym surfaces)
  • Wipe down high-touch surfaces and equipment
  • Dispose of garbage and recycling appropriately
  • Restock bathroom and cleaning supplies as needed
  • Follow cleaning checklists and safety protocols

Requirements:

  • Ability to work early mornings (typically starting at 6:00 AM)
  • Availability on both weekdays and weekends
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
  • Comfortable with physical tasks, including lifting up to 30 lbs and standing for extended periods

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Previous cleaning/janitorial experience
  • Interest in climbing or fitness environments (not required)
