Commercial Electrician

Calgary, AB

Open to Candidates across Western Provinces

Night Shift

Frequent Travel, Red Seal Endorsement Required

Fall Protection/Scissor Lift required

Travel and Accommodations are coordinated and paid for

Raise Workforce has partnered with an Electrical Service provider that focuses on Lighting and Power Distribution for grocery stores and commercial offices. They are continuing to grow their business and seeking RSE Commercial Electricians that are open to traveling across various sites between British Columbia to Ontario.

You could be doing the following…

Service and maintain the electrical systems within the job sites and provide assistance where needed

Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations

Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits; pull wires through conduits and through holes in walls and floors; install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment; install, replace, repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels

Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools

Red Seal Endorsed Construction and Maintenance Electrician or 2nd & 3rd year Apprentice with 3500 hours

Valid Fall Protection and Aerial Work Platform (Scissor Lift), CSTS 2020 Required

Proficient in reading blueprints and other technical drawings.

Commercial construction background with experience running EMT conduits

Ability to work independently as well as in a small team

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Good interpersonal skills working in a fast-paced workplace with a sense of urgency

Flexibility to work required shifts (nights/days) depending on the site's accessibility
