Kingsway Instruments is looking for a highly motivated, driven, experienced individual to join our team in the following position:

Calibration Technician

Job opportunity is based in Edmonton, Alberta for a Calibration Technician position. Responsibilities will include calibrating and repairing a wide range of test equipment including Electrical, Dimensional, Humidity, Pressure, Temperature, and Torque tools. The primary focus of this position will be for Electrical and Temperature/Humidity Calibrations.

Customer service is our number one priority and the successful applicant would be responsible for ensuring timely and knowledgeable support.

We are interested in an individual who is eager to learn, dependable, and wanting to excel in the calibration field.

Qualifications:

  • PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE in calibration lab for calibration and repair of test equipment is required
  • Preference to candidates with educational training in Electrical/Electronics
  • Preference to candidates with experience using Fluke Calibration Equipment in laboratory setting.
  • Hardworking, motivated, and personable
  • Strong communication skills with ability to work both individually and in a team environment
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment

Responsibilities:

  • Calibrating a wide range of test equipment including Electrical, Dimensional, Humidity, Pressure, Temperature, and Torque tools
  • Servicing and Repairing above equipment
  • Following lab procedures with high attention to detail
  • Completing work orders and calibration documentation
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Gain expertise in Test and Measurement Equipment, Key Product Lines, and Calibrations to offer knowledgeable solutions and support to customers.

· Key focus on Electrical, Dimensional, Humidity, Pressure, Temperature, and Torque

· Major product lines include Fluke, Megger, FLIR, Additel, Crystal, Mitutoyo, Starrett, Proto, Alkitronic, Defelsko, Hubner, and more.
