Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary information for estimates.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate pricing.
  • Coordinate schedules of subcontractors.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Review and analyze bids from subcontractors to ensure competitiveness and accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and correspondence.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
