CATA Management Ltd. is seeking an Experienced Excavator Operator to join our Earthworks and Civil team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate excavators to for various construction projects.
  • Assist with the excavation of material for pipelines, foundations, and other construction needs.
  • Perform pre-operation checks and routine maintenance on excavators to ensure safe operation.
  • Collaborate with the project team to execute projects on time and within specifications.
  • Maintain a high level of safety and adhere to all safety protocols on the job site.
  • Work in tight or confined spaces with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure proper handling and transportation of excavated materials.
  • Complete daily equipment logs and report any maintenance needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience operating excavators, preferably in civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of excavator controls and operation techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret site plans and blueprints.
  • Experience working with other heavy machinery is an asset.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to excavation work.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and able to work in varying outdoor conditions.
  • Valid driver's license
