1. Banquet / Bistro Server

As a Banquet/Bistro Server, you'll be part of our events team delivering exceptional service at weddings, corporate events, galas, and public functions. You may also work at the Battery Bistro, located at Fort Henry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up banquet rooms and tables according to event plans
  • Greet guests and provide professional, courteous service
  • Serve food and beverages following proper service etiquette
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas
  • Assist with event breakdown, cleaning, and equipment storage
  • Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to ensure smooth operations
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and food-handling guidelines

Qualifications

  • Previous food service or hospitality experience is an asset (not required)
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Dependable, team-oriented, and detail-focused
  • Smart Serve Certification

2. Line Cook

As a Beavertails Mobile Truck Team Member, you'll be the face of a beloved Canadian brand, serving fresh Beavertails pastries and delivering memorable customer experiences at festivals, fairs, and events.

.Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook Beavertails pastries to brand standards
  • Provide friendly, efficient customer service
  • Take and process food and drink orders accurately
  • Operate POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Follow food safety and hygiene protocols
  • Restock supplies and assist with opening and closing duties
  • Address customer questions or concerns professionally
  • Support team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • Previous food or customer service experience is an asset
  • Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Team-oriented and dependable
  • Willingness to learn brand standards and procedures
