Crew Coordinator – Landscape & Property Maintenance

About the Role

We are seeking a Crew Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and daily execution of landscape and property maintenance operations. This role acts as the operational link between management and field crews, ensuring schedules, resources, and communication are aligned so work is completed safely, efficiently, and to contract requirements.

The Crew Coordinator is a field-support role, with regular interaction with supervisors, operators, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily and weekly schedules for field crews
  • Assign crews to sites based on scope, priority, and availability
  • Support Crew Supervisors with work planning and sequencing
  • Track crew attendance, hours, and deployment
  • Coordinate equipment and resource availability
  • Communicate schedule changes, site updates, and priorities to crews
  • Support daily reporting, work logs, and operational documentation
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training coordination
  • Monitor progress and escalate issues to the Operations Manager
  • Maintain professional communication with clients and internal staff

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in operations coordination, dispatch, or field support
  • Experience in landscape maintenance, construction, utilities, or property services preferred
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple crews and changing priorities
  • Clear, professional communication skills (phone, email, in person)
  • Working knowledge of field safety requirements and hazard awareness
  • Proficiency with basic scheduling tools, spreadsheets, or job-tracking systems

Education & Certifications

  • High school diploma required
  • Post-secondary education in operations, logistics, or construction management considered an asset
  • Safety or supervisory training an asset
