We are a refined dining concept preparing to open our second location planned for the Vancouver market in Port Moody. We are seeking an accomplished Head Chef to lead the kitchen and help define the culinary identity of a growing premium restaurant brand from the ground up. This role is ideal for a chef who values precision, leadership, and elevated yet approachable cuisine, and who is excited by the opportunity to grow with a quality-driven hospitality group.

The restaurant is designed casually refined dining destination that blends polished service with an approachable, energetic atmosphere. The menu is globally inspired, anchored by premium steaks and seafood, and designed to feel elevated without being formal. The experience is high-end yet welcoming and social, with a strong focus on quality ingredients, thoughtful execution, and consistency. As a luxury but casual dining experience, offering the resources, environment, and autonomy required to execute at a high level while maintaining a strong, professional kitchen culture.

What you'll do: You will oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring every dish meets the brand's culinary standards. Your responsibilities will include menu development, team leadership, food quality control, and operational excellence. You will manage food costs, inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships, while maintaining strict compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Working closely with front-of-house leadership, you will help deliver a seamless, polished guest experience and foster a respectful, performance-driven kitchen environment.

What we're looking for: A minimum of five years' experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen leadership role within a high-volume or upscale dining environment is required. Strong leadership skills, sound business awareness, and the ability to execute refined menus with consistency are essential. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and passionate about quality ingredients, modern techniques, and team development. Experience within the Canadian hospitality industry and knowledge of local sourcing is considered an asset.
