Duties

  • Safely operate various commercial vehicles, including box trucks and other delivery vans, following established routes and schedules
  • Load and unload goods using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, ensuring items are handled with care and precision
  • Deliver packages to customers' locations promptly while providing excellent customer service with a friendly attitude
  • Verify delivery details, obtain signatures when necessary, and document all transactions accurately
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety standards are met and report any issues promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle to ensure optimal operation throughout the shift
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve any route or delivery issues

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
  • Proven delivery driver experience, especially with box trucks or similar vehicles
  • Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with clients during deliveries
  • Ability to lift heavy packages regularly and perform manual lifting tasks safely
  • Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus
  • Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and traffic regulations
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments requiring heavy lifting and moving items efficiently
  • Knowledge of manual transmission vehicles is advantageous but not mandatory
