Responsibilities

  • Develop work instructions and continuously improve them;
  • Improve work methods to enhance quality and reduce execution time;
  • Participate in solving manufacturing issues in collaboration with design engineers and the production line;
  • Complete technical and management files in collaboration with various stakeholders (production, engineering, quality, logistics…);
  • Research and propose technical and economic solutions to improve workshop performance;
  • Ensure work methods are safe and comply with health and safety standards;
  • Participate in employee engagement within the workshop;
  • Participate in or lead special projects.

What We Are Looking For

  • College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline;
  • 5–10 years of experience in methods, ideally in Structural Engineering;
  • Bilingual (spoken and written);
  • Experience in an industrial workshop, ideally in heavy equipment manufacturing;
  • Experience in a unionized environment;
  • Strong computer skills (CMMS an asset);
  • Available for occasional travel;
  • Available to work all shifts occasionally.
