Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Surveyor at True North Positioning. The Construction Surveyor will be responsible for planning and conducting construction layout and as-built surveys, performing inspections, and ensuring construction safety standards are met. They will also collaborate with civil engineers and project managers to provide accurate measurements and data for construction projects in the Hamilton, Niagara and the Kitchener/Waterloo Area.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in planning and conducting surveys
  • Knowledge of civil engineering and building surveying principles
  • Familiarity with construction safety regulations
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately measure and record data
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines
  • Relevant certification or degree in surveying, civil engineering, or related field
