Job Description:

In this dual-role position, the individual will be responsible for assembling, programming, and shipping Sensor Suite hardware to various project sites. The individual will also monitor installed equipment at each site to ensure proper functionality. This includes verifying that each unit registers on the SensorSuite Cloud Platform and operates as

intended. While the technical knowledge required for this role is minimal, the individual should be comfortable handling basic tasks related to control equipment for HVAC

systems. Specific HVAC experience is not required. Individual will also be required to support customer communication and training from time to time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the assembly of SensorSuite hardware products.
  • Perform programming of microcontrollers and modules.
  • Support the shipping and receiving of products.
  • Monitor installations via computer to ensure all programmed units are responsive and identify any issues for management.
  • Conduct periodic system checks via computer to ensure systems are functioning properly.
  • Provide training on the solution to customers as needed (non-technical)
  • Provide general assistance and participate in ad hoc projects as needed.
  • Some field / onsite work may be required

Qualifications:

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written - Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency in using hand and power tools, such as drills and screwdrivers.
  • Must have a valid Ontario drivers license and access to a vehicle.

Education and Experience:

  • A college diploma in a related field is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
