Overview

We are a well-established property management company in Edmonton managing multiple residential buildings across the city. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support day-to-day building operations and ensure our properties are safe, functional, and well maintained.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, reliable, and capable of handling a wide range of maintenance and service calls independently.

Job Responsibility :

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance and service calls across multiple properties
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Electrical repairs (basic to intermediate)
  • Drywall, painting, and carpentry
  • Door, lock, and hardware repairs
  • Appliance troubleshooting and minor repairs
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to reduce future issues
  • Coordinate with management and report completed work
  • Maintain tools, materials, and a clean work environment
  • Assist with unit turnovers and general property upkeep.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in property or building maintenance (required)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
  • Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Good communication and time management skills.

Assets (Nice to Have)

  • Trade certifications or formal training
  • Experience working in residential rental properties
  • On-call or emergency maintenance experience

Compensation & Schedule

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.10-$27.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
