KPMG's dynamic and growing National M&A Tax practice helps clients navigate the complex tax landscape of inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions. Our experienced professionals provide strategic tailored advice and practical support across the full deal lifecycle—from due diligence and structuring to post-deal integration.

We are currently seeking a Specialist to join our collaborative team and contribute to delivering high-quality tax solutions that drive value for our clients. This position provides the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining exposure to real deals and opportunities for career growth.

What you will do

Collaborate with senior team members to support project management for M&A transactionsAssist in tax-related analysis and documentationPrepare reports and presentations for clients and internal stakeholdersConduct tax due diligence procedures by analyzing data, identifying risks and assisting with tax due diligence processContribute to the development of tax strategies by assisting with preparation of structuring documents and related analysisParticipate in client meetings and support decision-making processesWhat you bring to the role

CPA designation or actively pursuing a CPAMinimum 2 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on taxStrong written and verbal communication skillsEffective time-management and self-motivationStrong research and analytical abilitiesAbility to manage multiple prioritiesCommitment to continuous learningInterest in developing and implementing M&A tax strategiesProficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint

KPMG Ontario Region Pay Range Information

The expected base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $100,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant's base salary within this range is based on the individual's location, skills & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
