We are looking for an experienced Server to ensure the smooth running of our restaurant. The Server's main responsibility is to prioritize requests and meet the needs of customers by providing them with food and beverage service. You will also assist in daily maintenance operations such as cleaning and replenishing supplies. Having excellent interpersonal skills is important to build a rapport with your customers. As a Server, you should have a high attention to detail and be able to work independently without supervision. Since you will work closely with other employees, we expect you to work well in teams. Our most ideal candidate is an excellent multi-tasker with great attention to detail and proficiency in prioritizing, time management and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as soon as they arrive, and welcome them to the establishment.
  • Provide menus and answer questions regarding the menu.
  • Make sure their dining experience is a memorable one by providing friendly, efficient service.
  • Maintain high quality food and beverage standards, including knowledge of wine, spirits and other drinks.
  • Suggest appropriate wines or other drinks to pair with a certain dish based on customer preferences and make recommendations for specific food items (e.g. beef entrees) based on current weather conditions.
  • Prepare open-flame cocktails, coffee or tea for customers.
  • Describe ingredients or dishes for customers who are interested in ordering but are unsure .
  • Attend to guests' special needs and requests in a timely and efficient manner (e.g. preparing special dishes in a kitchen, ordering birthday cakes etc.).
  • Clear away used plates and glasses once customers are finished with them.
  • Restock service areas and clean up spills quickly and efficiently.
  • Remove used dishes and glasses from guests' tables after the meal (.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.00 per hour
