. Members of this team are currently coming into the office one day a week.

What you'll do:

  • Match supplier and interbranch invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documents, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies using appropriate GL coding.

  • Prepare and process supplier claims, including damages, shortages, manual adjustments, and journal entries.

  • Collaborate with FCL commodities and distribution centers to ensure timely, accurate matching and issue resolution with vendors.

  • Support the Accounts Payable team in identifying and clearing system mismatches and investigating claim disputes.

  • Other duties as required.

You will work closely with 4 other Accounting Technicians and will be part of a larger team of professionals reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. This team strives to cultivate a culture of teamwork and conversation, helping to share the workload to meet stakeholder needs.

  • Have a high school diploma, two post-secondary courses in financial accounting from an accredited post-secondary institution, and a minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience.

  • Preference will be given to candidates with experience related to the applicable functional area.
