1. Core Role & Experience
- Primary Function: An SAP Finance Consultant specializing in Treasury and Banking, with strong accounts payable knowledge.
- Must-Have Configuration Experience: They need a hands-on configurator, not just a functional advisor. You must have built/configured these processes in SAP.
2. Non-Negotiable Technical Skills
The candidate must have proven project experience in:
SAP Treasury:
Debt & Investment Management: Configuring and managing securities, derivatives (hedges), loan facilities.
FX Exposure Management: Handling foreign exchange risk processes.
SAP Banking & Cash Management:
Bank Communication Management (BCM): Setting up and managing bank interfaces.
Specifics: Payment files (outgoing), Lockbox (incoming), Electronic Bank Statement (EBS) processing and reconciliation.
Accounts Payable (AP):
Full-cycle AP: Invoice entry/posting, payment run configuration, bank master data setup.
Bank Reconciliation: Expertise in reconciling bank statements with AP/GL.
3. Critical Soft Skills & Project Requirements
- Business Process Design: Ability to design, document, and configure finance processes from business requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Reports to Finance Team Lead, so must work closely with finance business users and other IT teams.
- Communication: Excellent English skills for clear documentation, workshops, and training with business stakeholders.
