Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent kitchen skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and grow within the food service industry.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Follow food safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are adhered to at all times
  • Support the kitchen team during busy hours to ensure timely service
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with team members to deliver excellent service

Qualifications

  • 1+ Year previous experience in food preparation or as a line cook is required.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation, cooking techniques, and food presentation
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
  • Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
