Job Summary

The Pizza Culinary Clerk will be responsible for preparing, heating, and serving delicious pizzas and grab and go food items to our customers. This role requires a keen attention to detail, a passion for food, and a dedication to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare fresh pizza dough and toppings according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Assemble products with accurate portions to ensure consistent quality and taste.
  • Operate pizza ovens and heating equipment to cook pizzas to perfection while adhering to food safety standards.
  • Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations on pizza choices and customization options.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing surfaces, utensils, and equipment to meet health and safety regulations.
  • Package food items for takeout and ensure they are presented attractively and securely.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth operation and provide prompt and courteous service to customers.

The Pizza maker position is a full time position working with required availability between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Follow all proper food handling procedures
  • Ensure food quality meets Nature's Emporium standards
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in any manner
  • Attention to detail, excellent customer service
  • Previous experience with pizza dough would be an asset
