We are a reputable home builder based in Edmonton, AB, committed to delivering quality homes and exceptional customer service. As our company grows, we are looking for a skilled and reliable Site supervisor to join our team and assist in managing warranty-related service calls for newly constructed homes.
Position Summary:
The Site Supervisor will be responsible for performing repairs and completing service requests on homes currently under warranty. You will be the primary point of contact for homeowners after possession and will play a key role in maintaining our high standards for quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform site supervising duties and minor repairs in newly built homes under warranty (drywall touch-ups, caulking, hardware fixes, minor plumbing/electrical adjustments, etc.).
- Conduct walk-throughs and diagnose issues reported by homeowners.
- Coordinate with trades and suppliers when necessary for larger repairs.
- Maintain clear communication and professionalism with homeowners.
- Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
- Ensure all work is completed according to company standards and Alberta New Home Warranty requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential construction, renovation, or home warranty service.
- Strong skills in general repairs: drywall, paint touch-ups, carpentry, caulking, etc.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed or company van provided).
- Basic tools required; company can supplement if needed.
