Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Go Auto Full time

Web Analyst
Are you the kind of person who gets a little thrill from a perfectly tagged event or a clean data layer? We're looking for a
Web Analyst
who can blend technical know-how with curiosity and who loves connecting data, insights, and real user behavior.

You'll work alongside our current web analyst and development team to track what matters, analyze what works, and experiment with how to make our sites perform even better. This role will also play a key part in expanding our AI-driven SEO and CRO strategy, not just using AI tools, but integrating them intelligently into how we analyze, optimize, and grow.

What You'll Do

  • Work with the team to manage GTM, GA4, GSC, GBP, and event tracking
  • Maintain accurate, reliable analytics data and documentation
  • Support and evolve our AI-enhanced SEO and conversion optimization efforts
  • Analyze performance data and uncover actionable insights
  • Translate complex data and technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for non-technical teams (content, marketing, leadership, etc.)
  • Use tools like Semrush, Ahrefs, or AgencyAnalytics to monitor SEO performance and opportunities
  • Build dashboards and visual reports that make data easy to understand
  • Stay current on trends in analytics, AI, and technical SEO

What You Bring

  • Hands-on experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (for troubleshooting tags)
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and conversion optimization (CRO)
  • Experience using tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or AgencyAnalytics
  • Analytical mindset and the ability to translate data into insights
  • Curiosity about AI-driven analytics and automation
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills
  • A love for collaboration — you enjoy working alongside devs, analysts, and content folks alike

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with SQL, BigQuery, or data visualization tools
  • Experience with a CDP including Segment
  • Exposure to A/B testing or CRO platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO)
  • Understanding of structured data, schema markup, or search performance analysis

Why You'll Love Working Here

  • Collaborate directly with an experienced web analyst and a supportive dev team
  • Help shape our next generation of AI-driven SEO and analytics strategy
  • Plenty of opportunities to learn, experiment, and grow your technical skills
  • A culture that values curiosity, accuracy, and a bit of fun along the way
