Join Our Meat Department at SuperValu

We're a locally owned, community-focused grocery store in the heart of Agassiz, and we're looking for a skilled, dependable Meat Cutter to join our team full-time. If you take pride in your craft, value food quality and safety, and enjoy delivering great customer service, we'd love to hear from you

What You'll Do:

  • Cut and prepare all types and cuts of meat with care, precision and speed
  • Follow all food safety, quality, freshness and sanitation standards
  • Operate cutting tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Stock, rotate and merchandise meat products and deli product displays
  • Assist customers with product selection and custom requests
  • Work closely with your department manager and teammates to keep operations smooth
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. as part of your daily responsibilities

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience as a Meat Cutter and/or working in a retail environment is a definite asset
  • Knowledge of different meat cuts and preparation techniques
  • Strong attention to safety and sanitation standards
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada
