Job Description
:
Trilliant is seeking a Project Director who is primarily responsible for executing client-based projects and managing engagements, working with other partners as required. The role includes managing and monitoring all project activities, ensuring commitments to the operating plan, commercial management and contractual compliance. The Project Director is responsible for ensuring sound account management practices are applied, stakeholder management of the customer in conjunction with objectives for account growt,h and ensuring that Trilliant is viewed as a valued and respected vendor and/or partner. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the MD of North America.
Position Responsibilities:
- Establish quarterly two-way client feedback sessions using suggested metrics and quarter-over-quarter scorecard reporting
- Establish client meetings for progress, status, and feedback to the customer program staff and Trilliant management
- Develop and implement the Trilliant way client relations and management strategy to ensure client satisfaction with product performance, network operations, and support program usefulness for meeting client expectations
- Building a project controls and communications plan with regular access points
- Establish and maintain positive long-term client relations
- Be positioned as the single point of contact for technical and performance discussions
- Contribute to RFP responses as requested. Develop generic project draft documentation consistent with project-specific network capability and technical performance requirements (C&I, residential, large and small scope)
- Identify project interdependencies and timelines to align with goals and objectives
- Implementing project controls and consistent processes
- Makes recommendations and carry out improvements to the program to meet changing mission parameters and requirements
- Monitor and understand the impact of technological, legal and operational changes that affect the activities and work processes of the program
- Provide regular updates on project status, network performance, data analysis, new product and service applications
- Provide technology and process alignment among client projects and installations
- Recruiting, hiring, and directing a site-specific Trilliant Project Team
Position Requirements:
- Full project lifecycle and customer engagement experience from definition, through development, QA, customer verification and transition into 'business as usual operation.
- 10+ years of experience of working in large corporate environments and/with system integration businesses delivering
- Demonstrated experience in supporting successful projects in complex corporate environments
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, high-growth environment, and have strong critical thinking skills
- Outstanding communications and stakeholder management skills, capable of communicating effectively to both business and technical resources
- Ability to write and direct the writing of clear and concise functional documentation
- Competency with Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio and similar business tools
- Experience in the Utility, Smart Grid or Energy Management field
- Extensive experience with IT industry standards and practices, including UML/Rational, ITIL, Prince2, ISO
- Experienced in managing large, distributed teams through direct and dotted line management (matrix management)
Education/Certification:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/electrical engineering
