We are committed to safety, efficiency, and excellence in our operations. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Tire Technician to join our dedicated team in our Mount Pearl Location.

Job Summary

As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for removing, installing, rotating and balancing tires. Your expertise will ensure that our customer's vehicles are safe, reliable, and operating at peak performance, supporting our commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove, install, rotate and balance tires
  • Perform minor repairs, maintenance, inspections and basic tune ups that do not require the presence of a Licensed Automobile Technician
  • Maintain neatness/cleanliness of bays through regular inspections
  • Repair of tires and repair processes, including patching, removing tires from rims and replacing

Qualifications

  • Some basic knowledge and understanding of current automobile technology
  • Must have valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
  • Ambitious and eager to learn new things
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Work well independently and as a team
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
  • On-call services. Must be willing and able to work some evening and weekends while on call
  • Experience with heavy equipment vehicles is an asset
  • Experience with Mitchell 1/ Protractor considered an asset
