Tire Technician Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and a passion for automotive repair. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining tires for various vehicles while providing excellent customer service.

Duties

  • Install, balance, and align tires on vehicles according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Inspect tires for wear and damage, providing recommendations for replacement or repair.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform tire-related services.
  • Conduct maintenance checks on vehicles as needed, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Assist customers with inquiries regarding tire options, services, and pricing.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Perform heavy lifting as required when handling tires and equipment.

Skills

  • Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair shop is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in tire services and automotive maintenance.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to tire installation and repair.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed in a fast-paced environment.
