Survalent Technology is looking for a determined, energetic, and versatile student to join out marketing team. This Marketing Co-op position is a full-time, four-month role. The student will provide general support to the Marketing Department to help the team meet its objectives of generating leads to increase the pipeline and our brand awareness. The primary focus of the role will be digital marketing and event support. If this is something you are interested in, please read on to learn more.

Responsibilities will be assigned according to priority and may include
:

  • Website support
  • Input/upload content.
  • Create icons.
  • Track and follow-up on outstanding Survalent deliverables for new site (forms, content, icons, etc.)
  • Event support
  • Ad-hoc event-related support which could include managing speakers and their deliverables, sourcing new ideas and pricing for event-related giveaways, venue research for regional events, keynote speaker research, managing shipping arrangements, coordinating accommodations for staff, sourcing staff uniforms, etc.
  • Content formatting
  • Formatting brochures and case studies in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Updating screenshots in brochures, case studies, website, etc.
  • Video editing
  • PowerPoint template migration
  • Create new PowerPoint template from mock-ups.
  • Migrate existing Sales, Marketing, and Product presentations over to new PowerPoint template.
  • Research
  • Industry research for buyer profiles.
  • Competitor and market research for sales enablement.
  • Research trademark and copyright information.
  • Database and network clean-up
  • Organize content, determine current working files, delete duplicates and outdated drafts on network.
  • Confirm and fill in outstanding information on Salesforce CRM.
  • Clean up programs and campaigns on Marketo (marketing automation system).
  • Other duties as required.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Must be enrolled in a College/University marketing program or related field.
  • Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organization skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfort learning and working with new systems (training will be provided).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS PowerPoint and familiarity with WordPress and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation systems and CRM would also be helpful.
