Important Eligibility Requirement

This internship is only open to students currently enrolled in a recognized post-secondary institution where completion of a work placement is a mandatory or elective requirement for academic credit. Proof of enrollment and school approval will be required before the start date.

About Sports Circuit

Sports Circuit is a growing sports retail and community-focused business supporting badminton, tennis, pickleball, and cricket players. We work closely with clubs, coaches, and players to build long-term relationships within the local sports ecosystem.

Learning-Focused Internship Overview

This academic internship is designed to provide students with exposure to sports retail operations and partnership development in a real-world setting. The primary focus is on learning, observation, and skill development under supervision.

Learning Objectives & Exposure Areas

Inventory & Operations Exposure

  • Observe and assist in inventory organization and stock tracking processes
  • Learn how stock levels are monitored and reconciled between physical inventory and systems
  • Gain exposure to basic retail operations workflows

E-Commerce & Systems Learning

  • Learn how product listings are managed on an e-commerce platform
  • Assist with updating product availability under supervision
  • Understand how inventory accuracy impacts customer experience

Sports Community & Partnership Exposure

  • Research local sports clubs, academies, coaches, and players
  • Observe outreach strategies and communication approaches
  • Assist in preparing outreach lists and scheduling discussions
  • Sit in on meetings where possible to understand partnership discussions

Professional Development

  • Learn basic business communication and stakeholder management
  • Maintain simple learning logs or reports as required by the academic institution
