Summary

We are seeking a Kitchen Helper to join our team at Bait Sitty Middle Eastern Cuisine. This role is essential in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring that our culinary team can deliver exceptional dishes to our guests. Located in the heart of the GTA, this position offers an opportunity to grow within a vibrant culinary environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation and ensure all ingredients are ready for cooking.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
  • Support chefs and cooks during meal service by providing necessary assistance.
  • Handle food items safely according to health regulations and standards.
  • Participate in cleaning duties, including washing dishes and sanitizing work areas.
  • Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is an asset.
  • Knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and take direction from chefs and kitchen staff.
