Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of public areas, hallways, and back-of-house spaces during overnight shifts.
  • Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and ensure all surfaces are sanitized to meet health and safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by disinfecting fixtures, restocking supplies, and ensuring overall hygiene.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards and report them promptly.
  • Use janitorial equipment and industrial cleaning tools effectively to achieve high standards of cleanliness.
  • Follow established procedures for waste disposal, chemical handling, and equipment operation to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

  • Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within hospitality or industrial settings.
  • Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, and mopping different types of flooring.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness throughout the property.
  • Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting supplies, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions precisely in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
