The Role

The Bulk Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of products and commodities to customers and between company operational facilities.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Deliveries and pickups as assigned
  • Work with Sales Coordinators to support customer service, route planning and delivery times
  • Maintain contact with Sales Coordinators to receive instructions and/or be dispatched to another location
  • Yard duties as assigned
  • Comply with the Canadian Transportation Act and all applicable regulations
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Load and unload products
  • Conduct routine truck inspections (pre/post trip) and maintain accurate records of deliveries using GPS-linked software
  • Maintain high safety standards and awareness
  • Knowledge about Nutrisource, Dairytech, and Bullseye product lines and services
  • Other duties as required

Skills & Experience Required

  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and a professional demeanor

Qualifications include

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license
  • Clean drivers abstract, must be completed annually
  • WHMIS
  • Physically fit and able to lift 75 lbs.
  • 2 or more years' experience in driving a tractor-trailer
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Walking, sitting, standing, and driving to and from company operational facilities and customer locations
  • Stair climbing and lifting (up to 75lbs)
  • Working outdoors in all weather conditions; overtime hours as assigned
