We are seeking a Customer Service/Sales Associate to join our team
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with selecting flowers and/or plants and answer questions about flower/plant care
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Taking/fulfilling customer walk in orders, phone call orders and online orders
- Create fresh wrapped floral bouquets
- Clean, cut and prep fresh flowers
- Watering plants
- Stocking inventory
- Handling cash and sales transactions
- Organizing deliveries
- Key holder
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues and concerns
- Keeping shop clean and presentable
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields
- Experience working in a floral shop an asset
- Flower and plant knowledge an asset
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Job can be physically demanding. Must be able to lift and carry buckets of water/flowers, supplies etc.
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Quick thinker
- Reliable and trustworthy
