As Regional Manager, Clinical Services, you will provide strategic clinical leadership across multiple Parkland Retirement Living sites in Nova Scotia. About the Opportunity

The Regional Manager, Clinical Services, is responsible for providing clinical leadership, direction and oversight for Parkland RLC sites within the assigned division. Supporting pre-open, ramp-up and stable campuses, and working as a key member of the regional team, the Regional Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, administering and evaluating all resident care services through a partnership approach. In addition you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop clinical leaders and Regional Clinical Partners to ensure safe, high quality care delivery
  • Partner with Divisional Lead and General Managers to evaluate clinical performance, identify risk and implement improvement strategies
  • Oversee programs such as infection prevention and control (IPAC), nursing quality improvement, and utilization review
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and regulatory standards
  • Monitor clinical indicators and lead continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Deliver and oversee onboarding, training, and education for clinical teams
  • Travel regularly to communities to provide leadership and support

About You

In addition to placing high value on continuous improvement, collaboration and accountability, you bring:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in nursing or practical nursing (RN preferred; LPN considered)
  • Current registration with the appropriate nursing regulatory body
  • Minimum 10 years of nursing experience, including at least five years of direct patient or resident care
  • Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience overseeing clinical operations (retirement living, long-term care, or community health preferred)
  • Experience leading teams in a unionized environment
  • Advanced degree in nursing or leadership (MN, MScN, Med, MBA) considered an asset
  • Specialized training in gerontology, dementia care, palliative care, IPAC, or related areas is an asset
