Smartwork Electrical is a growing electrical contracting company known for delivering high-quality work on commercial and residential projects. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Apprentice who is ready to take the next step in their career and grow with a long-term, stable team.

As an Electrical Apprentice with 2–3 years of experience, you will support our journeymen and project teams on various commercial projects. The ideal candidate is motivated, reliable, safety-focused, and eager to build a long-term future with us.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical systems on commercial job sites
  • Pull wire, install conduits, panels, fixtures, and devices
  • Read and interpret drawings, specs, and work plans
  • Support Journeyman Electricians and follow all safety procedures
  • Maintain proper tools, equipment, and a clean work area
  • Contribute to project timelines and ensure high-quality workmanship

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of electrical apprenticeship experience (required)
  • Experience on commercial projects strongly preferred
  • Enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program (Level 2 or Level 3 is an asset)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
  • Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
  • Must have basic hand tools and PPE
