How Your Year Looks (The Dual Role)

1. The Installation Season (Spring, Summer, Fall)

  • Role: Site Lead / Installation Foreman
  • Focus: You are the "General" on the ground. You will run a crew of installers, ensuring fences are built to our high standards.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on installation of PVC, Aluminum, Chain Link, and Ornamental Iron fencing.
  • Directing and managing the installation crew to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Quality control: ensuring every post is plumb and every gate swings true.
  • Driving and maintaining the company truck and trailer (backing up trailers is a must).
  • Managing material inventory on-site.
  • Compensation: Commission based on Linear Footage Installed. The more efficiently you and your crew work, the more you make.

2. Sales (Winter)

  • Role: Residential Sales Coordinator
  • Focus: You are the "Closer." You will be securing the work that keeps us busy all year.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Active sales in new build neighborhoods: You aren't just waiting for the phone to ring; you are engaging with new homeowners.
  • The "Neighbor Strategy": Coordinating group buys between neighbors to close larger, multi-home deals.
  • Educating customers on our products and installation procedures (you sell it better because you know how to build it).
  • Preparing estimates and closing contracts confidently.
  • Compensation: Hourly Base Pay + Sales Commission. Our sales coordinators historically earn significant commissions during this period.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Experience: Have proven experience installing fences. You cannot lead a crew if you can't do the job yourself.
  • Communication: You must be articulate and confident. You need to be able to explain the difference between a cheap fence and a quality fence to a homeowner.
  • Leadership: You are firm but fair, capable of keeping a crew motivated and moving.
  • Ambition: You are energetic and looking to grow. We want someone who treats this business like their own.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean abstract and experience towing trailers.
