The Role 

BGC is looking for a highly motivated and organized Junior Accounting Clerk to join our Vancouver team on a temporary, full-time basis. This is an office-based role, with a planned start date in January and continuing through to the end of August 2026. Reporting to the Accounting Team Lead and the Controller, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day Accounts Payable needs while practicing our values of One Team, Excellence, Curiosity, Common Sense and Clarity.

Responsibilities 

• Coding and entering vendor invoices 
• Matching vendor invoices to purchase orders
• Responding to various inquires from vendors and staff 
• Reconcile and resolve accounts payable discrepancies 
• Reviewing and posting employee expense claims  
• Managing various credit card payment requests

Required Education, Experience & Competencies

• Completed or currently enrolled in a post secondary accounting program
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Motivated to work independently and within a team
• Highly organized
• Attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Customer service experience would be an asset

Wage Range

The estimated base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $47,000 CAD per annum, however base pay will be commensurate with job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. BGC's compensation package also includes a training allowance and comprehensive medical and dental plan.
