Shelburne, ON
area is looking for an
Electromechanical Technologists
for their facility.
Responsibilities:
- Electrical drawings created and updated using AutoCAD.
- PLC, robotic, and HMI programs troubleshooted, created, and modified as required.
- Projects of varying complexity managed and led from investigation to testing and implementation.
- Equipment commissioning, modifications, and installations led and supported.
- Contractor activities coordinated during equipment modifications and installations.
- Assembly and layout drawings created, modified, and reviewed using Catia and AutoCAD.
- Equipment compliance with safety standards and PSHR ensured.
- Root cause analysis performed to improve equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-year College Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with automation systems including PLC, HMI, robotics, safety PLCs, and VFDs.
- Experience with robotic welding systems required.
- Willingness and ability to travel to the USA as needed.
- Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor considered an asset.
- Experience with Keyence or Cognex vision systems considered an asset.
