Shelburne, ON
area is looking for an
Electromechanical Technologists
for their facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical drawings created and updated using AutoCAD.
  • PLC, robotic, and HMI programs troubleshooted, created, and modified as required.
  • Projects of varying complexity managed and led from investigation to testing and implementation.
  • Equipment commissioning, modifications, and installations led and supported.
  • Contractor activities coordinated during equipment modifications and installations.
  • Assembly and layout drawings created, modified, and reviewed using Catia and AutoCAD.
  • Equipment compliance with safety standards and PSHR ensured.
  • Root cause analysis performed to improve equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-year College Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with automation systems including PLC, HMI, robotics, safety PLCs, and VFDs.
  • Experience with robotic welding systems required.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to the USA as needed.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor considered an asset.
  • Experience with Keyence or Cognex vision systems considered an asset.
