Job Description

Diamond Standard Baseball is seeking energetic, responsible, and baseball-knowledgeable coaches and camp counsellors to join our Summer 2026 camp staff. Our camps focus on skill development, structure, and fun, providing players with a positive and engaging baseball experience in a professional camp environment.

This role is ideal for students, aspiring coaches, or individuals with experience playing or coaching baseball who enjoy working with children and want to be part of a high-quality summer program. This role is open to anybody aged 16+

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support daily baseball activities, including drills, skill stations, and games
  • Supervise campers and ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive environment
  • Assist with instruction in areas such as hitting, throwing, fielding, and base running
  • Actively engage with campers and maintain high energy throughout the day
  • Support head coaches with group management, transitions, and organization
  • Uphold all camp policies related to safety, behaviour, and professionalism

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience playing or coaching baseball is required
  • Experience working with children in camps, coaching, or similar environments is an asset
  • Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanour
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain prior to start date)
  • First Aid and CPR certification is an asset
