As an Equipment Operator / Labourer, you will assist with a variety of construction and excavation projects. This role involves both operating equipment and performing general labour tasks. Hours may vary depending on workload and season.

Responsibilities


• Operate equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, backhoes and attachments (training provided where required)


• Assist with excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and site preparation


• Support watermain repairs, waterproofing, and landscaping projects


• Perform general labour duties including shoveling, cleanup, and material handling


• Work closely with crew members to complete jobs safely and efficiently


• Follow all safety procedures and site regulations


• Help maintain equipment and keep job sites clean and organized

Qualifications


• Previous construction, excavation, or landscaping experience preferred


• Equipment operating experience is an asset


• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn


• Physically capable of manual labour in varying weather conditions


• Valid driver's license (G or AZ/AR license preferred)


• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused


• Ability to work well as part of a team
