Kintel General Contractors is looking for a Full Time/Permanent Skilled and Experienced candidate to join the team.

Our approach for every project is to be professional, fair, and honest. Our team approach keeps everyone informed and working together to realize the technical, managerial, and administrative processes that are crucial to the success of the project.

Duties are (but not limited) to the following:

  • Performing tasks that involve physical labor at building projects, heavy construction projects and demolition sites;
  • Operate all types of hand and power tools;
  • Ability to operate machinery but not a requirement
  • Able to problem solve and act in a professional manner;
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction commercial buildings and houses;
  • Working under operations managers
  • Lead team of on site personnel.
  • Knowledge of carpentry an asset
  • Read plans
  • Material take offs
  • Plan, organize, assign and contribute to work to be done by crews and monitor quality and safety

Requirements: (DO NOT APPLY OTHERWISE)

  • Minimum 9 years working in a construction environment;
  • G License and access to own transportation to get to construction jobs in and around the GTA;
  • Ability to work in a team environment;
  • Ability to operate machinery is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to complete handyman tasks is preferred but not mandatory
  • Ability to work unsupervised/independently/in a team environment with high attention to detail
  • Must abide by site safety requirements

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$38.00 per hour

Experience:

  • Skilled Labor: 5 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driver's License (preferred)
