As a Caregiver, you deliver on the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Supports clients with activities of daily living, including but not limited to: meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation
  • Engages in open communication with the Neighbourly Care team when opportunities to elevate your client's experience are identified
  • Reviews the clients care plan prior to beginning a visit - completing all records accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested
  • Meets all relevant legislative and public requirements as well as follows all current policies and procedures
  • Responds to all visit offers from the Care Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed upon timeline

Caregiver requirements:

  • Proof of nursing license (RPN, RN)
  • Ability to travel independently to client visits
  • Ability to use an app-based log in and out system
  • Must have or be willing to obtain up-to-date criminal record check with a vulnerable sector search
  • Must have or be willing to obtain up-to-date TB test
