What You'll Do:
- Investigate and resolve claims by analyzing relevant documentation, contracts, and policies to assess liability and negotiate fair settlements.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, carriers, shippers, and insurance providers to ensure compliance with industry regulations and optimize the claims process.
- Utilize logistics software and claim documentation tools to streamline workflows and enhance process efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze trends in claims data to identify root causes, improve shipping processes, and reduce future losses.
- Support risk management initiatives by identifying patterns in claims issues to enhance operational procedures and drive cost savings.
- Ensure timely and fair claims processing to improve customer satisfaction and strengthen vendor relationships.
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in freight operations or insurance claims handling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
