Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Calgary, AB, for a Senior Cost Consultant. The Senior Cost Consultant will oversee and manage cost planning, estimation, and financial control of construction and infrastructure projects. Key responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, preparing cost estimates, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with project financial objectives. The individual will also liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide expert cost management advice throughout project lifecycles.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Cost Estimation, Budget Management, and Financial Analysis
- Proficiency in Project Management, Risk Assessment, and Contract Administration
- Expertise in Construction, Infrastructure, or Real Estate project delivery
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for cost and project management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., MRICS, PQS) are an asset
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
