APERÇU DU POSTE
Planifier, organiser, diriger et contrôler les activités de projet requises pour assurer la gestion efficace des projets d'installation de systèmes de sécurité électronique.

RESPONSABILITÉS SPÉCIFIQUES:
  • Planifier et programmer les activités d'ingénierie, d'installation et de sous-traitance pour les projets et les travaux de service.
  • Maintenir à jour les plans de projet, les spécifications et les échéanciers.
  • Préparer, mettre en œuvre et gérer les plans et procédures d'installation.
  • Collaborer avec le département d'ingénierie lors des phases de conception et de dessin.
  • Coordonner l'approvisionnement en matériaux, fournitures et services et assurer leur livraison en temps opportun sur le chantier.
  • Déterminer les modifications requises (conception, prix contractuel, plan d'installation, etc.) et les mettre en œuvre.
  • Maintenir l'échéancier de construction et coordonner les tâches avec les autres corps de métier.
  • Tenir des registres précis de l'état des travaux, des changements, des flux de matériaux, etc.
  • Surveiller la performance et la qualité du personnel de terrain en partenariat avec le superviseur des opérations terrain.
  • Sélectionner, contracter et évaluer la performance et la qualité de la main-d'œuvre contractuelle.
Communication et gestion des parties prenantes
  • Assurer une communication efficace avec toutes les parties prenantes concernant l'avancement des projets et escalader les enjeux au besoin.
  • Effectuer régulièrement des visites de chantier afin d'assurer la qualité de l'installation des produits de l'entreprise.
  • Superviser la préparation et le traitement des rapports internes et externes.
  • Estimer ou contribuer à l'estimation des projets soumis à appel d'offres.
  • Présenter une image professionnelle de l'entreprise auprès des clients (tous niveaux).
  • Développer une relation positive avec les décideurs des clients.
  • Être responsable de la satisfaction client pour les projets.
Gestion et responsabilité des projets
  • Assurer la responsabilité de bout en bout de la livraison du projet.
  • Aider la direction à prévoir les besoins mensuels en main-d'œuvre et en matériaux.
  • Assurer une gestion adéquate des projets et le contrôle des coûts.
  • Superviser la préparation des données nécessaires à la facturation mensuelle.
  • Suivre les heures saisies par toutes les ressources.
  • Vérifier l'exactitude et la validité des factures et des paiements.
  • Identifier les problèmes de projet et mettre en œuvre des plans afin d'assurer la rentabilité tout en offrant un service client exceptionnel.
Clôture de projet
  • Responsable de la complétion des plans « tel que construit » (as-built).
  • S'assurer que toute la documentation est complétée, que les bons de commande sont fermés, que les avis d'achèvement (NOC) sont envoyés et que le projet est transféré au service.
  • S'assurer que le projet est entièrement facturé et reconnu en revenus.
  • Compléter le rapport de fermeture de projet.

  • Représenter l'entreprise de façon professionnelle en tout temps.
  • Être disponible pour travailler en dehors des heures normales au besoin.
  • Respecter toutes les politiques et procédures de l'entreprise, y compris celles en matière de santé et sécurité.
  • Maintenir et protéger les biens de l'entreprise.
  • Assurer une tenue de dossiers écrite exacte, complète et remise à temps.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUISES:
  • Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent.
  • 3 à 5 ans d'expérience fonctionnelle en gestion de projets dans un environnement technique.
  • 3 à 5 ans d'expérience en intégration de systèmes de sécurité dans des projets gouvernementaux de grande envergure.
  • Expérience en conception de systèmes de sécurité.
  • Permis de conduire valide avec un dossier acceptable.
  • Capacité à réussir les vérifications d'antécédents et les tests de dépistage requis.
  • Bilinguisme requis (français et anglais).
QUALIFICATIONS SOUHAITÉES:
  • Diplôme collégial (DEC) ou baccalauréat dans un domaine technique.
  • Certification PMP ou PMI.
EXIGENCES PHYSIQUES:
  • Capacité de communiquer efficacement en anglais (voir, entendre, parler et écrire).
  • Dextérité manuelle requise pour manipuler du matériel de bureau.
  • Capacité de s'asseoir, de se tenir debout et de marcher dans des environnements de bureau et de chantier.
CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL:
  • Environnement de bureau propre, bien éclairé et ventilé, avec un niveau de bruit faible à modéré.
  • Présence requise sur les sites des clients ou entrepreneurs (bureaux et chantiers).
  • Déplacements en voiture vers les sites clients requis.
  • Déplacements de nuit occasionnels possibles.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Plans, organizes, directs, and controls project activities required for effective management of electronic security installation projects.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Plans and schedules engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on projects or service installed jobs.
  • Maintains current job plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Prepares, implements, and manages project installation plan and procedures.
  • Works with engineering department on design and drafting phases of jobs.
  • Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, and services and controls timely delivery to job site.
  • Determines necessary changes in design, contract price, installation plan, or other activity and implements the same.
  • Maintains construction schedule and coordinates task scheduling with other trades.
  • Maintains accurate records of job status, changes, material flow, and other.
  • Monitors the performance and quality of the field labor in partnership with the Field Operations Supervisor.
  • Selects, contracts, and monitors the performance and quality of contract labor.
Communication and Stakeholder Management:
  • Effective communication with all stakeholders on project progress, escalating issues as needed to the next level manager.
  • Routinely walks job site to ensure quality installation of Company products.
  • Supervises the preparation and processing of reports for internal and external use.
  • May estimate or assist in estimating projects which the company is bidding.
  • Presents a professional image of the Company when speaking to customers (all levels).
  • Develops a positive relationship with the decision-maker of our customer.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction on projects.
Project Ownership and Management:
  • End to end ownership of the delivery of the project.
  • Assists management in forecasting monthly labor and material requirements.
  • Ensures proper job management and cost control.
  • Supervises the preparation of base data required for monthly project invoicing.
  • Monitors time logged to projects by all resources.
  • Monitors project invoices and receipts for accuracy and validity.
  • Identifies project problems, develops, and implements plans to assure project profitability while providing exceptional customer service and communication to all stakeholders.
Job Closure:
  • Responsible for Completing As-Builds.
  • Responsible for completing all paperwork, POs are all completed, Notice of Completions (NOC) is sent, and jobs are turned over to Service.
  • Job is 100% billed, and revenue is taken.
  • Job close out report is completed.

  • Has a strong knowledge of engineering fundamentals, security system functions and operations. Good subcontracting skills required.
  • An understanding of job financial reports and the ability control costs in the handling of projects.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • 3-5years of functional project management experience in a technical environment
  • 3-5 years of experience in security integration working with large scale government projects
  • Experience in assisting with security system design
  • Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to participate in and pass pre-employment and customer-required background checks and drug screens
  • Bilingual a must French
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of an Associate's degree (2 year) or Bachelor degree (4 year) in a technical capacity
  • PMP or PMI certified

  • Manual dexterity required for occasional reaching, lifting of light office objects, and operating office equipment
  • Sitting, standing, walking in office environments and construction sites
WORKING CONDITIONS: In general, the following conditions of the work environment are representative of those that an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • The office is clean, orderly, properly lighted and ventilated. Noise levels are considered low to moderate
  • Will be required to be on site with customers or contractors, to manage the expectations and deliverables. Sites range from general office environments to new construction.
  • Driving to customer sites is required
  • Limited overnight travel may be required
Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000 (DOE)
