About The Role & Team
As a Project Manager within the Customer Product Delivery organization, you will drive a variety of customer implementation projects that meet the needs of our global airline and air traffic management customers. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with colleagues and customers located worldwide.
Success in this role means you pay attention to detail, are time-sensitive, possess strong influencing skills, and enjoy working with others from diverse backgrounds.
What You Will Do
Managing projects
- Manage each project throughout its life cycle - from inception through closure - ensuring alignment with customer expectations, company standards, and contractual commitments.
- Manage change, mitigate risks, and deliver results to stakeholders and customers alike. Attention to detail, effective time management, and influencing people skills are key ingredients to be successful in managing projects.
- Work effectively with team members that may be local or distributed across different time zones.
- Regularly track project activities against planned schedules and take corrective action on any deviations.
- Communicate frequently with team members, management, stakeholders, and customers, ensuring continuous alignment and transparency on project progress.
Working with customers
- proactively engage with customers and their teams to ensure that each project goal and objective is achieved to their satisfaction and maintain strong relationships based on trust, responsiveness, and delivery excellence.
- Apply high standards of accuracy and clarity when documenting project activities. This includes communication plans, resource and project plans, progress and status reports, change requests, risk and issue logs, variance reports, Steering Committee reports, and lessons learned.
- Ensure compliance with all project governance and reporting practices defined within the organization.
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Formal project management training and certification (PMP or Prince2 preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects and programs of varying size, complexity, and budgets within a commercial environment.
- Experience in customer-facing delivery roles, ideally within the aviation, IT solutions, or telecommunications industries.
- Experience presenting to and collaborating with executives and senior management.
- Experience working in a global, matrixed organization is a strong plus.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
- Spanish proficiency is highly desirable, given the collaboration with teams and customers across Spain and Latin America.
