About the Role

This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and building strong client and partner relationships. The Business Development Manager will focus on sales execution, client engagement, and continuous learning to deliver Insight's value proposition. You will get to:

Sales (50%)

  • Achieve overall revenue and gross profit goals
  • Maintain direct communication with sales management and collaborate with partner sales teams
  • Develop field relationships with strategic vendor partners and maintain required appointments
  • Communicate Insight's complete value proposition to all organizational levels
  • Prepare monthly reports summarizing wins, losses, inhibitors, and net-new opportunities
  • Conduct proactive outbound communication to key partners and follow up on lead lists
  • Provide updated sales pipeline regularly, including quote tracking, order tracking, close ratios, and open opportunities
  • Manage and track software renewals, maintenance contracts, and warranties for assigned product lines

Client Facing (40%)

  • Respond effectively to requests and inquiries from internal and external clients
  • Focus on acquiring new logos and solution selling
  • Position Insight as a strategic solution provider for client business needs
  • Proactively introduce new solutions to address client challenges

Learning and Certification (10%)

  • Maintain expertise on manufacturer products, programs, and industry trends
  • Attend manufacturer-specific training to stay current on products and programs
  • Develop strong knowledge of leading technology initiatives and competitive landscape

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or partner management within the technology sector
  • Strong understanding of vendor programs and solutions is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid environment

Ce rôle est essentiel pour stimuler la croissance du chiffre d'affaires et construire des relations solides entre clients et partenaires. Le responsable du développement commercial se concentrera sur l'exécution des ventes, l'engagement client et l'apprentissage continu afin de livrer la proposition de valeur d'Insight. Vous pourrez :

Ventes (50 %)

  • Atteindre les objectifs globaux de chiffre d'affaires et de bénéfice brut
  • Maintenir une communication directe avec la direction commerciale et collaborer avec les équipes commerciales partenaires
  • Développer des relations de terrain avec des partenaires fournisseurs stratégiques et maintenir les rendez-vous requis
  • Communiquez la proposition de valeur complète d'Insight à tous les niveaux organisationnels
  • Préparez des rapports mensuels résumant les victoires, les défaites, les freins et les opportunités net-new
  • Mener une communication proactive en sortie avec les partenaires clés et suivre les listes de prospects
  • Fournir régulièrement une chaîne de ventes mise à jour, incluant le suivi des devis, le suivi des commandes, les ratios de clôture et les opportunités d'ouverture
  • Gérer et suivre les renouvellements de logiciels, les contrats de maintenance et les garanties pour les gammes de produits assignées

Relation avec le client (40 %)

  • Répondre efficacement aux demandes et demandes de clients internes et externes
  • Concentrez-vous sur l'acquisition de nouveaux logos et la vente de solutions
  • Positionner Insight comme fournisseur de solutions stratégiques pour les besoins clients
