Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Experienced Night Baker to join our dynamic bakery team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and finishing a variety of baked goods during the overnight hours, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality, freshness, and presentation. Your expertise in baking will help us deliver exceptional baked items to delight our customers each morning. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and bake a wide variety of breads
  • Package baked products efficiently for retail display or catering orders, ensuring freshness and presentation quality
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery station in accordance with food safety regulations
  • Monitor oven temperatures, proofing times, and ingredient measurements to ensure optimal product quality
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients for baking
  • Support food handling procedures by adhering to hygiene standards and safe kitchen practices
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines during overnight shifts
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products before packaging or display

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in baking (minimum 3 years)
  • Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
  • Excellent knife skills for precise cutting, portioning, and preparation tasks
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, and packaging tools
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
  • Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy trays or ingredients as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
