Bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk (French & English)

Employment Type: Full-Time. Office-based
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Compensation: $25 to $30 per hour depending on experience.

Position Overview

Our Client is seeking an experienced Bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their finance team. The successful candidate will manage a high-volume accounts receivable portfolio, communicate professionally with customers in both French and English, and demonstrate strong collections expertise.

This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organized, and confident working in a fast-paced, office-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile a high-volume accounts receivable portfolio of 200+ Client accounts per week
  • Perform collections activities, including follow-ups on overdue accounts via phone and email
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with Clients across Canada in both French & English
  • Apply cash receipts, post payments, and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Monitor customer credit limits and aging reports
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
  • Investigate and resolve billing issues and disputes in a timely manner
  • Prepare AR reports and provide updates to management as required
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing and customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English (spoken and written) (French 50% / English 50%)
  • Strong collections experience, including managing delinquent accounts
  • Proven experience handling high-volume accounts (200+ per week)
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
  • Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
