About the Role
We are a fast-growing South Asian BBQ restaurant looking for a highly organized, operations-driven Branch Manager to lead our location. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-volume QSR environment and is passionate about seamless operations, process improvement, and administrative excellence.
As Branch Manager, you will oversee day-to-day operations, lead and develop your team, and continuously improve systems to ensure speed, consistency, and quality across all service periods.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Store Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth, efficient service
- Maintain high standards for food quality, cleanliness, and customer experience
- Ensure speed of service and order accuracy during peak hours
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Process Improvement
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement improvements
- Standardize workflows to ensure consistency across all shifts
- Use POS reports and operational data to drive better decision-making
Team Leadership
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise front- and back-of-house staff
- Build a performance-driven, accountable team culture
- Conduct coaching, evaluations, and performance reviews
- Handle staff discipline and conflict resolution professionally
Administrative Excellence
- Maintain accurate sales, labour, inventory, and compliance records
- Ensure daily opening/closing checklists and reports are completed
- Manage cash handling, deposits, and variance tracking
- Coordinate payroll inputs and scheduling accuracy
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labour regulations
Inventory & Vendor Management
- Manage inventory ordering, storage, and waste control
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely deliveries
- Monitor food and labour costs
Customer Experience
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain brand standards and an authentic South Asian BBQ experience
- Monitor online reviews and implement service improvements
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2–4+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a quick-service or high-volume environment
- Strong operational, organizational, and administrative skills
- Experience with POS systems and operational reporting
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Valid G Driver's License (Ontario)
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Experience with South Asian cuisine or BBQ concepts is an asset
